Hello friends, and sponsors, and happy,
happy, happy, September 2025. As you know, September 10’TH, means, Labor Day has passed, and the kids are back at school for the 2025/2026, school year. What a summer we’ve had, with all the wonderful summer time events, festivals, and various festivities, this summer had to offer. Now that summer has passed, we’re looking forward to the fall months, and activities. Of course, that means Octoberfest 2025. Now, before, you get excited, here at The Shoes Saves Foundation, Octoberfest, is not; celebrated as drinking holiday, but a time to reflect on community. This Octoberfest 2025, we have a specific theme of: “The winner’s circle is for us.” Octoberfest celebrates community, and family, in every way. Let’s do our best this Octoberfest 2025, to keep our thoughts on what Octoberfest truly stands for, so remember; and don't forget, about Octoberfest 2025. Octoberfest is celebrated from 10/01/25 through 10/31/25. Since Octoberfest focuses on community, and has a specific theme this year of, "The winner’s circle is for us", we, The Shoes Saves Foundation Staff, Management, and Sponsors, want to encourage our neighbors, and community, to remember, to look out for the safety of all those around us in the community this October; and all year long. This means, watching out for the kids who walk by in the morning going to the bus stop, or helping an elderly neighbor cross the street. Remember, to watch out for all unoccupied houses during the Halloween/Angels Night season, as well. When we help each other; the community grows and flourishes. At the end of Octoberfest; we end the month with a celebration of nature’s goodness, while also celebrating the changes in the season, as fall has begun. Remember, our community focus of, "The winner’s circle is for us", and together, we can make a difference.
Don't forget; to keep us in prayer, at The Shoes Saves Foundation, as prayer does truly change things. Also, don't forget to send in your much needed donations, as so many depend on them; because our goal is to help as many as we can, while also continuing our building renovation project. Praise The Lord, our scripture reading for the month of September, comes from the book of I Corinthians, chapter 5, verses 7-8, which says: "Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
