Hello friends, and sponsors, and happy, happy, happy, January 2026. I hope you all, had a pleasant holiday season, and new year. With the new year having arrived, there are several things happening in the first quarter of 2026. Firstly, we look forward to announcing the new 2026, yearly theme, or The Shoes Saves Foundation Theme of The Year. As we here, at The Shoes Saves Foundation Ministries, over the next couple weeks; narrow down the final choices, for the 2026 theme of the year, we find this to be a most exciting time of the year. There are also some noteworthy holidays approaching, including, The Super Bowl, Valentines Day, Lent, and Easter. Lent begins February 18, 2026, through April 2, 2026. Let’s make every effort this year, with not only, our own new years resolutions, but also; with a renewed dedicated focus on lent, and what lent really means. Let’s not forget, Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice on the cross for our sins, and Lent is the 40 days leading up to Easter Sunday. During the 40 days of Lent, remember to reflect, pray, and learn to be a better person, and a better parent. These things, being a better person, and parent, are the quintessential ingredients, for a better society. Learn to control, your own self, and your own household, then society furnishes.

Praise The Lord.

Don't forget; to keep us in prayer, at The Shoes Saves Foundation, as prayer does truly change things. Also, don't forget to send in your much needed donations, as so many depend on them; because our goal is to help as many as we can, while also continuing our building renovation project. Praise The Lord, our scripture reading for the month of January, comes from the book of Matthew, chapter 27, verses 50-54, which says: "Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God! "
