Hello friends, and sponsors, and happy, happy, happy, October 2026. I trust, you’ll had a great beginning of the month of October. Of course, with the month of October, comes the season changes to fall, and Halloween/Angels Night, or as the Latino Community refers to October 31’ ST, each year as; The Day of The Dead. We here at The Shoes Saves Foundation Ministries, have our own celebration each year called Octoberfest. Now, before you get all excited, and run out, to get your very own keg of beer, for us here at The Shoes Saves Foundation Ministries, Octoberfest is not a drinking holiday, but a time to reflect on the community. Yup, we have our own version of Octoberfest, and here is how we celebrate Octoberfest: Octoberfest celebrates community, and family in every way. Let’s do our best this Octoberfest 2026, to keep our thoughts on what Octoberfest truly stands for. So remember; and don't forget, about Octoberfest 2026. This October 1 through 31 is Octoberfest. Octoberfest focuses on community, and has a specific theme this year of "WE OUT-SHINE THE REST". We, The Shoes Saves Foundation staff, Management, and Sponsors, want to encourage our neighbors, and community, to remember to look out for the safety of all those around us in the community, this October; and all year long. This means, watching out for the kids who walk by in the morning, going to the bus stop, or helping an elderly neighbor cross the street. Remember, to watch out for all unoccupied houses, during the Halloween/Angels Night season, as well. When we help each other; the community grows, and flourishes. At the end of Octoberfest; we end the month with a celebration of nature’s goodness for the season changes, as fall has begun. Remember, our community focus of ,"WE OUT-SHINE THE REST", and together, we can make a difference. Don’t forget to make it a fantastic, October 2026, The Shoes Saves Management and Staff. Praise The Lord.

Don't forget; to keep us in prayer, at The Shoes Saves Foundation, as prayer does truly change things. Also, don't forget to send in your much needed donations, as so many depend on them; because our goal is to help as many as we can, while also continuing our building renovation project. Praise The Lord, our scripture reading for the month of October, comes from the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 1, verses 1-4, which says: "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance." Don't forget to dance, this Octoberfest, dance, dance, dance, as this is the season to dance!!!!!
