May 10, 2026.
Hello friends, and sponsors, and happy, happy, happy, May 2026. I trust you all had a wonderful Cinco de Mayo, this week, Tuesday. Of course, Cinco de Mayo, celebrates the victory of the Mexican people, over the French. This victory over the French, took place in Mexico the country, on May 5, 1862. At that time in history, the French, were looking to occupy Mexico, however; the Mexican Army had other ideas, when the two sides fought, on May 5, 1862, in the city of Puebla, several miles outside of Mexico City, Mexico. The Mexican people, completely vanquished the French forces in 1867, and of course, Mexico has been its own nation, for many, many, years now. Although, Cinco de Mayo, is now gone until 2027, next Cinco de Mayo, put on a pot of enchiladas, or tacos, or even salsa and chips, and remember the sheer determination of the Mexican people, and their fight for freedom, against oppression, and colonialism. No worries though, if you missed celebrating Cinco de Mayo, as we here in the United States of America, as US citizens have a similar holiday approaching, that also reflects a time when we fought against colonialism and oppression, it’s called the 4’TH of July, or Independence Day. Let’s not forget, our own struggles with Great Britain, which lead to the Declaration of Independence written on July 4, 1776, and then signed by all delegates on August 2, 1776. My point is, we all want our own freedoms, and liberties, and want to avoid oppression, from outside countries. Therefore, every year on May 5’TH, eat a taco, and every year on July 4’TH, eat good old fashioned American hamburger and fries, and remember our own freedoms from oppression.
Praise The Lord.
Don't forget; to keep us in prayer, at The Shoes Saves Foundation, as prayer does truly change things. Also, don't forget to send in your much needed donations, as so many depend on them; because our goal is to help as many as we can, while also continuing our building renovation project. In addition, if you'd like to send any donation, including your own tithes, an offerings, you may do so, by following the instructions on the donations page. Finally, if you would like to join our ministry, please go to the contact page, and follow the instructions. Praise The Lord, our scripture reading for the month of May, comes from the book of Judges, chapter 6, verse 9, which says: "and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land."
Happy Memorial Day.
Remember, God is good.
Praise The Lord.
Reverend Joi Karla Hubert,

With the love of Christ, remember God is Good.
Recite Joi's Prayer below, for those who love to pray their own way, through any situation:
Lord Elohim, help us through this time, and bring us to our correct and rightful place. Remove all demonic forces from around us, and those who heed their call. You are righteous, and just; and a guiding force through all darkness. We also ask you to cleanse, and purify all that we eat, and drink, on a daily basis. Lord God of all the heavens, and earth, I believe in my heart, that Jesus is the son of God, and confess with my own mouth: Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. Jehovah God, you answer the prayers of those who ask, and call on you in the name of the Messiah. Bless us with right standing Lord, bless us with health, and strength Lord, and help us meet all requirements of our own daily existence. Shine us up Lord, and remember us Lord, then take us on wings of glory where we should go, stay, and remain; in the name of Jesus, Ben Elohim Al Akbar. Amen and Amen
