Hello friends, and sponsors, and happy, happy, happy, February. Let’s start this February newsletter off, with a warm wish for the holiday season, of Valentine’s Day. Of course, Valentine’s Day, is a time for love, and romance. This Valentine’s Day, remember to tell the one you love, that you love them; just remember, all love is not romantic. There are three types of love: 1) Agape - Love for your own Creator, or Deity, 2) Philos - Non Sexual, or Non Romantic Love, for family members, and friends, 3) Eros - A Sexual, or Romantic Love for your own spouse, or your own love interest. These are the three traditional types of love, although; research describes a few other types of love, however, for conversation sake, we are going to focus on these three, for a moment. Now that you know, the three types of love, you are armed, and ready for the big Valentine’s Day, 2026, I love you, conversation. Next, The Shoes Saves Foundation, 2026 Theme of The Year, (drum roll, please) “ We out-shine the rest”, is our theme of the year. The bible says, “ so let your light shine”, (Mathew 5:16), and don’t you know, The Lord of Host ain’t wrong. We here at The Shoes Saves Foundation, take that biblical idea a step further, as we are the best of the best, simply put; we are fantastic in our zeal, for absolutely no nonsense, and goodness, wherever possible. Therefore, by the power invested me, I now pronounce us, The Out-Shiner’s, as “we out-shine the rest”. Praise The Lord, The Lord of Host - Jehovah God - Elohim, and for all the Fantastic People, out there, keep on glowing, and shining.
Don't forget; to keep us in prayer, at The Shoes Saves Foundation, as prayer does truly change things. Also, don't forget to send in your much needed donations, as so many depend on them; because our goal is to help as many as we can, while also continuing our building renovation project. Praise The Lord, our scripture reading for the month of February, comes from the book of Matthew, chapter 5, verses 14-16, which says: "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
